Developed in France, Barrisol is the world’s leading stretch ceiling system.
The flexible Barrisol sheeting is stretched and shaped using heat and is fixed into place using the Barrisol patented perimeter rail system.
Every Barrisol stretch sheet is manufactured specifically for its own unique location. Because of its elastic properties, the Barrisol fabric has a ‘memory’, allowing it to be removed numerous times without impacting the sheet’s ability to find its original form.

Safety First
Barrisol Stretched Ceilings are A+ classed (best result) for indoor air quality, respecting the effective legislation. All Barrisol stretch sheets conform 100% with CE legislation. They are produced without Phthalate and are guaranteed to have zero Mercury, Lead, Cadmium or Arsenic present and are free of phthalates. All sheets are fire-rated, following the European and International norms (BS1-D0, BS2-D0) with Australian Equivalent (Class A or B fire-rated with the best possible score). Safety tests completed by French, English and American laboratories confirm that Barrisol products do not present any risk to health during installation or for the customer.
Eco Friendly & Recyclable
Respect for the environment is an integral part of the production process, requiring 20 times less raw materials than other types of ceilings. The Barrisol Stretch Ceiling is 100% recyclable. Installing a Barrisol ceiling or wall allows for the preservation of what is already in place, avoiding additional waste.
Acoustic System
The acoustic performances of our Barrisol membranes allow for acoustic ratings from αw = 0.65 (membrane without insulation) up to αw = 1.0 (with acoustic insulation). They can be backlit, printed and used within our Clim® systems.
Light & Easy Installation
Barrisol’s systems are lightweight (20 times less raw material than conventional construction systems) and quick to install without mess or dust. They allow access to technical services behind the ceiling with installation being completed in just a few days.
